My name is Abby and I am going to be graduating in May of 2010 from nursing school. After that I want to use my nursing skills to do mission work.
So far I am looking at a couple organizations
- YAV- which is a young adult volunteer program through the presbyterian church. It works with people that are 21-30 years of age. I have talked to many people that work with the YAVs and im just waiting for them to tell me if I can do some medical mission.
- medical benevolence foundation- which is a medical mission through the presbyterian church. I have looked at the website, and have filled out some information. I have talked to my pastor and the lady though the YAV program about this organization and they thought it was a wonderful program
- world race- the world race is an 11 month program and you go to 11 countries. This sounds like an awesome opertunity.
